1040 tax filing — no info
I mailed a paper 1040 tax return on 4/15/21.
The IRS “where’s my refund” says that no information is available.
Same answer for “get my payment”.
What should I do?

You should wait patiently. Paper returns take extra time. I’m betting you’ll be lucky to hear before Labor Day! Are you waiting for a refund? If so, you will earn interest on it at 3% back to late April. And for other readers, you can avoid the worry next time by sending your paper returns by certified mail, return receipt requested. At least you will know they received it! (They likely did but haven’t gotten to it yet.)
