Verify ME with SSA
We do not have online accounts with SSA. Everyone keeps telling us we need to go to SSA.gov and get registered. We have until 4/1/2025. We have received our social security deposits every month for 10 years with out a problem. Do we need to verify on line who we are to keep receiving the payments?

No, you do not have to verify if nothing has changed.
But in the future, you might want to change something, such as your deposit bank. For that, you might want to create a “mySocialSecurity” account at SSA.gov. For that, you will need a new kind of identity verification established at https://www.ssa.gov/myaccount/
But if nothing is changing, sit tight — and pray they don’t mess it all up!
