$300 Unemployment extension — I got it!!
The following was a question I sent you sent month. I wanted you to know I called IDES. They told me it had to be entered manually, the 300 weekly, and to expect them to to automatically deposit it shortly. It took them 4 days to return my call, but they were great. A bit surprising, but a good one. Thanks for your help.

Quick question. My regular unemployment has expired. Do I need to reapply for the extra unemployment that runs thru September?

Theoretically no. But if you’re in Illinois you never know what IDES will do! They already stopped some PUA (self-employed) benefits, on the grounds that the state unemployment rate had dropped so much the benefits were no longer needed or required!
