Affordable Care Act Eligibility
We have a 43 year old son, living out of Illinois. Working Full Time at a nice restaurant. He’s been told he does NOT qualify for Obamacare because he works in excess of 30 hours per week.
Is this true? If so, does he have an alternative to obtain Obamacare? He wants and needs insurance very badly.- WGN Faithful Listener.-

Whoever told him that? It is absolutely incorrect.”Obamacare” premiums are based on income, not hours worked! And RIGHT NOW is ‘Open Enrollment’ –so he should apply today.
