Blue Cross / Blue Shield Plan F vs. Plan G

I enjoy listening to you every week on the John Williams’ Show. I find it very interesting and informative. I vaguely recall you talking about Blue Cross / Blue Shield Plans F and G. I am 74 and have Plan F, while my wife has Plan G. I have been told that I should switch from F to G. Yet, I recall that I heard you say not to switch if you have Plan F. I can’t find any articles on this and would like your advise.

Plan F offers slightly better coverage, but it is no longer offered to new enrollees. So stick with it! Likely your wife is younger, applied later –and got Plan G, which is now the best available to younger enrollees.
