That all depends on the company/country issuing the bonds, and the state of the economy.
If there’s a recession, some high-yielding bonds of weaker companies might default.
If there’s inflation, and interest rates rise, then bond prices go down.

So, prices of bonds are impacted by interest rates and credit quality. (Longer term bond prices decline more when current rates move higher.)
