Can I invest in T-bills from my HSA checking accoun
Can I invest in T-bills from my HSA checking account which is in a bank account? I have over 20,000 dollars in this account and I am over 65.
Terry Says
No, sorry. That is a type of “custodial” account and your investments are limited to what is provided. You certainly could ask if the HSA has a “brokerage firm” option. Many firms, like Schwab and Fideity, will buy T-bills in your account and act as custodian.
