What would/will happen if China (and others) continue to ‘dump’/sell their US Bonds and Treasuries?
If so, would you still recommend purchasing in this economic climate?

Then, in order to finance our national debt, we would have to raise interest rates to attract other buyers. In fact, that is just what was happening in the financial markets yesterday — and it took that to remind the President that we NEED other countries to help finance our debt.
If you aren’t a risk-taker, I’d suggest sticking with chicken money — T-bills, short-term CDs, and money market funds. You won’t get rich — but you won’t get poor!
