I was wondering if you have any connections at social security that can help get my gpo retro payment and get my social security account updated with the gpo removed?
All my friends and old coworkers have received theirs already and I haven’t. I’m thinking mine is more difficult because I am also a widow and I would get partial social security from my deceased spouse. I’ve called and the agents say it could take a year. I heard I should have my retro by the end of March. Please help me if you can.

Wait– are you ALREADY collecting a reduced SS benefit, either on your own record or your late spouse’s record?
And you’re just waiting for the WEP adjustment — a one-time deposit for all of 2024, and Jan/Feb 2025? Plus a higher monthly check?
