Filing taxes
I haven’t filed taxed since 2013 for personal reasons regarding my soon to b ex husband. How do I rectify this without taking a major hit in penalties if I owe anything.

That’s a tricky situation. Did you have any earned income of your own during those years? Were you still legally married during some/all of those years? There are so many more questions, but I think you really need an attorney who specializes in these issues. I only have one I recommend:

If you had no earned income, you might not have been required to file — so no penalties or interest. But that’s something you’ll have to discuss with your lawyer. In fact, please write back at some point and let me know how this works out.
