A long-time fan from Texas here. Just a “shout-out” for your great and practical financial advice over many years! In the 2000’s we invested in a TIAA-CREF low cost variable annuity for some of our “chicken money” (which we still have). This week I searched for your advice on multi-year guaranteed annuities (MYGA) for some of our current chicken money. Your thumbs-up “with eyes open” advice on this product (Feb 2023 article) was the catalyst for my wife and me to invest in MYGA’s.
