I received a check for $85, 000 from the USAA and I’m wondering if it’s a Scam
Okay Terry I received two Priority Mail US Postal Service and it had a check in it from the USAA Federal Saving Bank for the amount of $85,000 now I’m wondering if this is a scam it’s talking about covid-19 assisted benefit payments is this a scam

If you didn’t apply for benefits, it is very likely part of a scam.
The first thing you should do is follow all the instructions in this article: https://www.terrysavage.com/identity-theft-update/
Check your credit report at all three bureaus and FREEZE your credit.
The second thing you should do is dial 1-800-CALL FBI and report the receipt of this check. They will definitely follow up. Let me know what happens. You may have intercepted a fraud — or you may inadvertently be PART of a fraud.
