Is there a grace period to cancel annuity once it was purchased?
I had two annuities from two different agents.
The agent from a small annuity kept calling me for an appointment which was presented as a review of my annuity. When I arrived he automatically started talking about my other bigger annuity from different agent which already reached maturity and before I was even able to think straight he placed the call to other company telling me he is combining the two but when this was quickly done I realized that all the money was put into a new annuity.
I did not want the other money to be put in a new annuity!

You should immediately call and send a registered letter complaining to the insurance company. Yes, there is a grace period. AND then you should go to www.StantheAnnuityMan.com and set up an appointment to get his advice on what you should do next. No charge. You can trust him. Tell him about this post and that I sent you. Have all your documentation handy.
