Medicare Advantage

I heard you & your friend on WGN radio talking about Medicare Advantage. All very biased opinions. I think you need to do more research! You misled many listeners! It’s very easy to check & see if your Drs. & hospitals are in a plan BEFORE you decide what you want. I have Humana Advantage PPO and had prostate cancer surgery last year. All of my Dr’s & Hospital (Northwestern) are in my plan. My out of pocket was about $800! Take that into consideration when advising people. I didn’t have to pay for a supplement, dental coverage, drug coverage, vision etc. so I think I’m money ahead.
Regular Medicare is expensive with all the additional coverage needed.
I used to enjoy listening to you and had valued your opinion but I’m really second guessing that going forward. Think of the Big picture!

As we clearly stated on the show, there are some very good plans, but it’s hard to know before you sign up, get sick, and then need to USE the plan. And if it restricts you, you have to wait until the next open enrollment period to go back to traditional Medicare.
AND at that point, you likely won’t be able to get back into your old comprehensive supplement, Plan G.
