Medicare Advantage
It seems Medicare Advantage is the better choice from a financial standpoint ($0 monthly premium and easier with dental and vision baked into the plans). I have a close friend who is adamant about choosing the traditional Medicare supplement plan (Plan G), where you pay a premium and can go to any doctor, with no co-pays. I’m healthy and not on any meds (turned 65 July of 2023). My thinking is “Why should I pay beyond Medicare premiums if I’ve paid into the system all my working years—from age 17 until 62—and I’m healthy?” Am I wrong to choose an Advantage plan over traditional Medicare?
