Non taxable unemployment
Hi Terry,
I filed my 2020 taxes early. Paid taxes on my unemployment but I shouldn’t of. Will the IRS refund me and what do I need to do?

You don’t have to do anything — but wait! The IRS is reviewing all returns that showed unemployment benefits, and in the process of returning taxes paid on the first $10,200.
