Stimulus check — got mine, but spouse didn’t
My husband and I both received a paper check for Stimulus #1 which was mailed to our house.
For the 2nd stimulus, I received a debit card, and my husband received nothing.
He filled in Line 30 on our income tax for 2020 and deducted the stimulus he should have received, from our taxes.
For Stimulus #3, I received a direct deposit to our checking account about 3 weeks ago. But, again, my husband has received nothing. We file our income tax jointly, so why wouldn’t his come at the same time as mine? We are retired people.
We checked the IRS.gov Get My Payment and they offered nothing about his stimulus payment.

Hmm, that IS strange. They will probably catch the omission when they review your 2020 return. And checks are still going out. So it may still come in the mail. Or if he gets Social Security, it could be directly deposited in that account. If worst comes to worst, you can claim it as a credit on your next year’s tax return. but I’m betting it will still come the traditional way. Give it another 6 weeks, and if you still don’t have it, please post again.
