Treasury bonds versus treasury notes versus treasury bill
What is the difference between treasury bonds, treasury notes or treasury bills? How would I go about investing in either?
Terry Says
Treasury bills have maturities of less than two years, typically 13 weeks or 26 weeks as the most popular term. Treasury notes have original maturities between 2-10 years. And Treasury bonds have original maturities at issuance of longer than 10 years.
Savings bonds are an entirely different category.
