Treasury direct account locked
I have a hard lock on my account, (which is in the name of my trust) and they also say there is something else wrong but no one can tell me what is wrong. They say fill out form 5444 for the hard lock and form 5446 for the other issue and then
send a letter saying you aren’t sure which section to complete. I have called twice and gotten similar answers.
The biggest problem is that the form requires a medallion signature or certified signature (not a notary). I have contacted Chase, Wells Fargo, Charles Schwab. They all say they dont do that any more. What institutions do this today? Thank you for any help you can give.
