Where to check credit report for errors
My daughter found errors (wrong addresses and phone numbers) when she was applying for a mortgage with her husband.
How do check my credit report for errors and how do I correct it?

Go to www.AnnualCreditReport.com and get a copy of your credit report from each of the three bureaus. It’s free. You do not have to sign up for any of their monitoring offers!
You can correct/dispute any errors online.
Do keep in mind that it is not a mistake to have previous addresses listed in your credit report — only addresses that you do not recognize!
